I have been working on these particular analysis and the professor is not happy with what I am coming up with. I have the dataset which would be attached and the the professor’s comments below. I also have the Template attached. Hello Akintayo, Now what do you feel about the variables? Can you make some kinds of concept map using relationships between variables? For example, I see variables of Sports team participation, physical activity, breakfast eating, as well as sex behaviors and drug use behaviors. Don’t you want to find some patterns of what kind of people do show a certain sex or drug use behavior? This takes time. You need to develop stories based on your common sense, in addition to reading news articles, or government policies, or academic papers. Most theories are derived from academic papers: Search google scholar using some key words or main ideas in your mind. Please contemplate your research topic more. Please think of if this new topic has validity for the aim and scope of PUAD 630. You are rushing it without an in-depth thought again. Can you write a theoretical memo for the topic? What does it have to do with public administration? Can you bring some theoretical lenses from policy courses? Or at least public health or behavioral sciences perspectives? Each student is expected to conduct a research project using the analytical techniques that are covered under PUAD 630. You should submit 1 page paper based on a given format including the (tentative) title of your study, your research question, independent variables, control variables, and dependent variables.
