Based on this chapter choose question 1 or 2.
1. Why should I do what is morally right?
The text (pages 323-324) lists several reasons for acting morally. Describe in more details all, or some of these reasons. You may choose only reasons that are most compelling to you. Use lecture notes, your assignments (example: cases studied, videos watched…) and textbook for quoting. Write minimum of 2 pages.
2. What is the morally right thing to do?
Apply this question to human cloning. Write minimum of 2 pages answering the question: Is human cloning ethical?
This will be a research paper. Use the procedure explained on page 324, especially
# 1: Clarify the problem.
And # 2: Possible responses? You need to present for and against arguments.
Finally # 4 and #5 making sure that you articulate clearly your own position.
You need to cite properly your sources.
Do not copy and paste except for citations.
OPTION 3: Summarize everything you learned in this course from all Modules, Assignments and Discussions. Make sure to include information, facts and references to ALL ethical theories from this course. (2 pages – solid)
OPTION 4: Topic and format of your choice but need to be approved by the professor. (You must send your proposal by April 19, or earlier if possible. After this date option 3 is not available.
