This is for a rewrite of a thesis. Only need to work on three section/chapters: Literature Review, Results, and Discussion. The literature review (pages 32-58) is mostly done. However, each section needs to be expanded by at least a couple pages an reformatted to best flow into the next sections of the lit review. The Rejection of Traditional Architecture section (page 57) particularly needs to be at least 5 pages, as I have not done as much research on that topic. Pages 100-107 has a list of possible sources to incorporate in the lit review. Also, if you happen to know any anthropological theory and can incorporate it into the lit review and possibly later in the Discussion, that would be wonderful. Then, the sections need to flow well into each other. Need rewriting for the Results and Discussion sections (66-89). Need a focus on flow and connecting themes together in a way that makes sense throughout the paper. The Lit Review, Results, and Discussion need to all connect. Also need to transition between topics and connect ideas. There are also some comments in the document that can help serve as a guide on changes and additions that need to be made. Finally, center the thesis around the central argument, which is the different forms of challenge, as can be seen in this paragraph: . Lumanti challenged governmental policies and developed strategies to work around and through the different levels of government to get beneficiaries approved for reconstruction. The women’s cooperatives, essential partners of Lumanti, challenge the traditional male order by contributing significantly to reconstruction, how reconstruction was and is enacted in the community, and who was recommended as beneficiaries. Though it could not be quantified through in the research, it can be supposed that members of the cooperative, who can only be women, would be prioritized when making recommendations for potential beneficiaries. Finally, the beneficiaries of both Lumanti and the government challenged those entities by reconstructing their homes in a manner that went against the prescribed architectural recommendations, particularly traditional architecture.
