question 1: How accurate are eye-witness testimonies, generally? Most research on confidence and accuracy in suspect identification has been conducted in the laboratory setting, where subjects must make an identification. How does this differ from a real-world setting? What factors influence accuracy? Do you think children should be allowed to testify in court? Why or why not?

question 2: Sussman, Skara, and Ames (2008) argue that different criteria of substance abuse should be applied to adolescents and adults. Briefly explain why. In terms of prevention, what kind of approaches have school-based substance use prevention programs taken, and how effective are these programs?
