This assignment is to look back at your childhood and see how your race/ class/ gender impacted how you were raised. You should also discuss how and if your standing in your family (birth order) impacted how you were treated. Also, you should discuss if you had chores and if they were gender specific. Were there specific aspects you learned from one parent or the other? For example, were you treated differently with regards to curfew, allowances, etc due to your gender or age? If you have children, discuss if you treat your children differently due to their birth order or gender. If you do not have children, discuss if your childhood will impact how you view raising your children. You can interview your parents/ relatives/ siblings/etc.
