You must develop a thesis for your Academic Topic Overview (ATO) paper (students with visual impairments/ blindness). Do not just describe what you are learning. Make the paper relevant and interesting. As you develop your thesis, consider answering the questions: Why is this topic important? Who should care about your topic? What is something interesting that I can say about this topic?
The ATO should include the following sections:
1. Abstract: summarizes the paper. it should be written after you have completed the paper.
2. Overview explaining the various aspects of the topic including historical context, and relevant research findings.
3. Applications conveying how the topic is approached in your classroom
4. Issues related to teacher, parent and/or social concerns
5. Conclusion including suggestions for teachers and parents
6. Terms and concepts defined in a short glossary of any new or unfamiliar terms at the end of the paper
7. Bibliography that includes at least 8 uniquely cited sources INCLUDING the pdf textbook I attached
