Find two case studies: one in which an athlete has terminated their career, and one in which an athlete is suffering an injury.
Imagine you are in the role of a consultant advising them through the process of career termination or injury rehabilitation.
In 1,500-1,750 words, for both parts; address the following sections:
Part 1:
Select an athlete who has terminated their career. Include background information on the athlete, their sport, their career length, success level, and reason for career termination.
Explain what strategies you would have used in helping them go through the process.
Part 2:
Select an athlete who is currently injured. Include background information on the athlete, their sport, their career length so far, success level, and the extent of their injury.
Propose strategies for a healthy response to rehabilitation based on that athlete’s specific circumstances.
Use four to six scholarly resources to support your explanations.
