Select a novel that you have already read and give a very brief summary of the novel. I use the term novel, but you can use a movie or children’s book. The summary is to help me to have an idea of the novel and SHOULD NOT BE a major part of the paper.
You are to select a major child or adolescent character in the novel and explore the issues presented – for example you could select Alexander from the children’s book cited above. Identify concerns that you have regarding the major character in the novel. Assess how you might relate to the major character if the character were to come to you for counseling. This paper should be about 4-6 typed pages. Remember to have citations and a bibliography.
