As we know, most of the ads in The Underground Railroad are actual ads from the 19th century, but not all of them. Similarly, find a series of ads (non slave-ads) that characterize one particular genre of your own choosing and use them as illustrations for a mini-narrative. Like Whitehead, you might consider telling the story that lies behind or beyond the advertisements. Think about how changing an aspect of the rhetorical situation (message, purpose, audience, context, genre, rhetor) might make an entirely new narrative for the advertisements possible.
