The minimum page length required is 4 pages, and should not exceed 6 pages (typed, 12-point,
Times New Roman font, double-spaced, on A4 paper with standard margins, Normal setting in
Microsoft Word, all margins 2.54cm, with indented paragraphs). If the literature review does
not conform to these specifications, marks will be deducted. Your reference section is NOT
included in this page limit.
The page limit does not include space required for bibliographic references at the end of the
review. Grade reductions will occur for papers with an insufficient number of references (see
point 2, below) and/or incorrect citations (Use APA style).
You will be required to include the following:
(1) Aim for a clear and cohesive review that integrates the key details of the literature to
support the position you are taking (i.e., critical appraisal).
(2) Read, consider and cite at least two primary sources (e.g., journal articles) and two
secondary sources (Book chapters, literature reviews, meta-analyses). The bibliographic
references should be provided at the end of your paper in APA format.
