It consists of two main parts:
Part I – Narrative Text (approximately 4-5 pages) – In this component, you will justify your thematic lesson plan by connecting it to major themes covered in the course. This includes the national curriculum (i.e. how does your lesson meet or reflect the goals of the national syllabus for English), principles of language development (i.e. how do the activities, materials and texts you have selected foster language learning according to research on language development for different types of learners), and sound assessment practices (i.e. how will you assess the language learning of your students, how will you account for different levels and abilities through your assessment, why is the type of assessment being used appropriate?)
Part II – Reflective Teaching Component (approximate 4-5 pages) – In this component you are asked to reflect upon what you have learned in the course readings, seminars and working with the telecollaboration project and how this will influence your teaching. The following are guiding questions to help you generate ideas for writing this component:
⦁ How has what you have learned in this course changed your thoughts towards assessing language learning?
⦁ Reflect on and critically evaluate how social, language and gender factors will influence your lesson content, structure, and assessment practices.

The paper should adhere to the following guidelines, which are modeled after those required for degree projects:
⦁ Not including the cover page or the references and appendices, it should be approximately 10 pages (Times New Roman 12 points – 1,5 spacing) in length.
⦁ Include page numbers at the bottom center of each page, excluding the front page.
⦁ Indicate new paragraphs through either the use of indentation or blank lines. (However, please note that you do not use any indentation after headings or extended quotes.)
⦁ Be consistent in the use of headings and abbreviations
