2.) identification of what area of occupation you classify each activity (according
to the OTPF);
3.) reflection of your personal values and beliefs;
4.) how these values and beliefs relate to the values and beliefs of the
occupational therapy profession;
5.) and how these personal values and beliefs impact your choice of occupation.
Choose one of the following formats in which to summarize and represent your
activities over the two-week period: journaling, pie charts, graphs, scrapbook,
videos, or daily schedules. Be creative in the way you present the other
requirements (#2- #5). APA format is required for this assignment (7-page
maximum inclusive of graphic representation and reference page). Note that
this assignment focuses on your PRESENT activities and/or occupations. Be
prepared to discuss the project in class with your peers and instructor.
Overall Presentation/Organization:
– Creative graphic representation of daily
activities over two-week period
– Logical organization of materials, including introduction and conclusion
– Interesting analysis of current occupations
– Catches reader’s attention, uses humor when appropriate, etc.
Written Analysis:
– References OTPF throughout by identifying the area(s) of occupation under which you classify each activity
– Includes reflection of your personal values and beliefs (i.e., family, cultural, religious, educational, social, and spiritual impacts)
– How do these values and beliefs relate to those of the occupational therapy profession?
– How do these values and beliefs influence your choice of occupations?
– Are you satisfied with your current choice of occupations; if so, why; if not, what would you change to better support your vision of your “ideal” self in this profession
