Make sure you correctly write the titles. These should be treated like a book title. Capitalize, etc. as expected. Your finished log should be a minimum of 1-2 typed pages using Times 12pt. FONT and SINGLE-SPACED. You are discussing your 3 pairs by making contrasts and/or comparisons between your choices. You may provide other details about your choices as well….any historical/composer/performer information is always encouraged as this helps you understand the styles and intention of the music. You should discuss some of the instruments used, if any, if you are able. This takes time in developing your ear to hear certain things. Here are other ideas: Tempo of the choices? Instruments vs. Voice? Male vs. Female? Consonant/Dissonant? These are all ideas you may use. I should not just read a description of the music…….you MUST compare and/or contrast the work(s) against each other in some way. Including some historical information is also encouraged. This could be about the artist, composer, or song of choice. This information will also help you better understand your listening choices and makes for an interesting log as well.
