Movie Review on Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Otello”

The content of the Movie Concert paper will include:

–What movie title was it, what year was it made, and

a)if a biopic, who were the main musicians covered, what were some of their tougher problems in life that they had to overcome to succeed at music, who played the musicians, was there much of their music featured in the movie, which pieces of theirs were featured, was there a love interest, how were the costumes and scenery and sound quality, etc.

b)if an opera, who were the stars playing the main roles, what was the basic plot of the opera, did you like the music, did the music seem to incude word painting, was the plot realistic, etc.

c)if a symphony, which symphony, which orchestra was playing it, who was the conductor, was there a special occasion, how did the movements compare and contrast with each other to create a balanced whole, which movement did you like best and why, and do you feel the symphony tells a tale?
