C600 SMC Capstone Project Capstone Overview The goal of the Capstone assignment is the completion of an 8 to 10 page essay on a current strategic topic of interest related to your component and/or CMF that incorporates the following SMC learning objectives: 1. Apply the Joint Functions. 2. Analyze the Army’s concept of unified land operations. 3. Analyze force management and force generation processes; to include the analysis of DoD policies, topics, and joint functions and capabilities in an operational environment. 4. Analyze how sergeants major assist in the development of organizations and leaders to achieve results by integrating leadership competencies and experience into an organizational-level leadership position. 5. Assess various topics within the leadership and workforce management and development through broadening professional studies; to include the analysis of leaders and managers throughout history, integration of leadership competencies, and the profession of arms.

The topic should warrant the application of SMC learning objectives, providing appropriate context for your writing.
