Managing Diversity

These are two questions both have to do with Managing Diversity. Both questions have to be a page and a half. There has to be two citations used for each question. The text that is used for this assignment is Mor Barak, M. E. (2014). Managing diversity: Toward a globally inclusive workplace (3rd ed.). Thousand Oaks, CA: Sage Publications. The questions come from chapters 8-16.

Question #1
To some, managing an organization today is more complex than managing an organization a generation or two earlier. To others, management is difficult, no matter the time, as one must adjust to the culture and influences of the time. Today, diversity and inclusion are a dominating factor in management. Discuss two complexities of managing a diverse and multinational organization as opposed to managing an organization that is primarily based in one country.

There are numerous trends that impact cultural diversity – international population trends, migration trends, national trends, gender diversity, and age diversity, to name a few. Select the trend that will have the greatest impact on the United States in the next five years and offer two strategies that will allow the United States to best mitigate its impact.
