Define your variables, discuss the method, what equations do you need, write the chemical reaction..Procedure: The recipe you used…number the steps. Data: ONLY values that you actually measure in lab. i.e. temperature, mass, time etc. Calculations: Absolutely anything that you calculate, T, q, anything! Don’t forget % error: % error = |actual- experimental| x 100 actual Discussion: Here’s where you analyze and discuss your experiment and results. Restate the purpose, briefly describe the experiment, what are the results, what are the possible sources of error? Summarize.
