Interview code book

This is a codebook of qualitative interviews. There are 5 interview transcripts that need to be coded. The codebook should use the template provided, as covered in class during week 7. (ie, please include the name of the code, a description, example, and whether it is inductive or deductive). There should be 10 code total which are, Stress-thoughts about pandemic Emotions: ex.) anxiety, fear, overwhelmed, loneliness, positive or negative impact Priorities: obligations, work Coping – ex). Understanding, accountability Barriers- Ex.) struggles their facing Finances Support Motivation Schedule/ routine Distractions- ex). Level of Focus And a self-reflection 1. Whether you feel you reached saturation with your codes, what you might like to do in a perfect world to reach data saturation if you did not. 2. How you developed your inductive and deductive codes, 3. How you think your codes might fit together in a conceptual framework 4. How you feel your position as the researcher influenced the analysis process (ie, how did you as the “instrument” interpret the data?) Please submit your codebook and self-reflection as a single pdf or word document. Grading Criteria: These are what I will be looking for, in relative order of importance: Codes are grounded in your data and appropriate to answer your original research question Thoughtful reflection on the process of developing codes with your group (ie, reflexive, grounded in data) Thoughtful reflection on the process of reaching data saturation Writing is pleasant to read
