Industrialization had profound effects on the development of the country and its people. One group that had direct interaction was wage-earning laborers. How did some of these laborers respond? What political motivations and tactics were present during the late 19th and/or early 20th century that they used to combat their place in society? How successful, or not, were their organization(s)? Formulate a thesis speculating how these wage-earning laborers either successfully responded to industrialization or how they were unable to do so.
