Within 1-2 paragraphs be sure to introduce your topic with an explanation of why it is important to discuss and examine. Keep in mind your topic should be focused on a particular area, i.e. ventilation systems, food service equipment, accessibility, emergency and disaster management, etc. Also provide a statement of the purpose of the Case Study at the end of this section (e.g. The purpose of this case study is to….).
A background of the subject organization:
Your Case Study is related to facilities management of a hospitality and tourism-based organization. Within 1-2 paragraphs share background information about the organization. Discuss its history, goals, and the targeted population that it serves.
Background of the topic :
In this section, use 1-2 paragraphs to build upon your “Introduction to the topic section”. Why is it important to discuss and examine this facilities management topic? For example, COVID-19 social distancing policies have changed the way facilities are managed. How have practices changed and why is it important to further discuss and examine? Can other affected organizations lend insight?
A section explaining the questions and dilemmas of the Case Study :
These 1-2 paragraphs offer a critique of the issue and examine the problem through an informed lens. Be sure you use your topic statement (e.g. Because the purpose of this Case Study is to…) and the various issues that you are interested in discussing using open-ended questions.
Conclusion :
Be sure to provide a conclusion paragraph wrapping up your Case Study. Do not just end the paper without summarizing all that you have mentioned in it.
References :
(Please make sure to use APA formatting (Links to an external site.). At least five (5) sources are required for this Case Study. Be sure to interject references in each paragraph where you provide information that is not intuitive. Additionally, please be sure to paraphrase the information you have found or use quotations and page numbers. Make sure to have some quotations in your case study.
