Description
Three major regimes of the twentieth century may reasonably be characterized as totalitarian: Hitler’s Germany (1933-1945), Stalin’s Russia (late 1920s to early 1950s), and Mao’s China (1949 to the mid-1970s). Compare Hitlers Germany and Stalin’s Russia as closely as you can in terms of the characteristics listed in the most recent Announcement. Be as detailed as you can. For extra credit, if you can, say some things about Mao’s China as well.
