A successful paper will:

meet and stay within the word count requirement of 1950 – 2050 words

>> establish that the problem does exist and cause unhappiness for a specific group
>> discuss the causes and effects of the problem
>> propose a solution to the problem
>> support the thesis throughout the paper with evidence and explanations
>> adhere to the research requirements
>> fully introduce your sources
>> apply the AXES when developing body paragraphs
>> fluidly integrate textual evidence from the primary text and secondary sources
>> focus on an in-depth analysis of the primary source, using the secondary sources to provide context
>> explain how the evidence used supports the sub-claims (assertions) being made in the paper
>> cite all quotes, paraphrases, and summaries with MLA formatted in-text citations
>> cite all sources used in the paper with an MLA formatted Works Cited
>> format the paper in MLA
>> submit as a Word document

Establish that there is a specific problem, the effects of the problem, and why it needs to be fixed. Then, at least 1/4 of the paper must be the detailed solution to the problem.
Make sure to propose an action oriented solution to the problem as THE THESIS in the introduction. You need to propose a specific action oriented plan to solve the issue. Your solution needs to overtly indicate who (the federal government, state government, college boards, the Department of Justice, WHO, etc.) can solve this problem and HOW (a policy or practice to solve it) and WHY they need to solve it.
For example, the U.S. federal government must do X (a specific action oriented plan that established HOW the policy or practice will be implemented) because Y. See the student sample Attached (Important Sample Essay Proposal Paper) .Please review the document!
>> Fully introduce your sources in the body of the paper as you use them
>> Cite in MLA. For every source that has page numbers, you must cite page number in the in-text citation: example, (Author’slastname 765).
