Graduate school professional statement

This paper is needed as part of my GMAT/GRE waiver form that needs to include a list of my professional work experience and answer the following questions below: – Explain how your professional experiences and promotions have prepared you for graduate study: Answer: I have an extensive background in the Financial services project management field with over 15 years of experience, including six years of experience at the second largest Big Four accounting firm in the country. This experience has exposed me to financial and accounting projects with some of the nations leading corporations and helped me adapt to a high-performance culture, learn how to multi-task in an ever changing environment with tight deadlines and high risk information. In addition, I am currently in the process of taking the PMP exam, which will serve as a bonus once I obtain my MMIS degree and allow me to fully understand information systems and assist me in my promotion as a Project management professional in the information systems industry. – Address how a graduate degree fits into your career development plans. (Answer: my career goals are to work as a Project management professional within the information management systems industry. I am currently working as a junior project manager in the PMO office within the IT infrastructure team. This experience is helping me fully understand the life cycle of a IT system, budget, administration, resource and financial factors associated with the implementation of a information system. Describe how you will balance time demands between work and the graduate program? Provide evidence of professional development such as certifications and other post-undergraduate training: Answer: I am currently studying to sit for the PMP exam and prior to to studying, I have taken Joseph Edwards PMP boot camp and received my certificate of completion, in addition to being approved to sit for the PMP exam after completing this boot camp. This class included 35 hour instructor led training including two exams and ten multiple choice quizzes. Provide clear evidence of your motivation for the program and the value you will add as a student? Explain how you will successfully complete the graduate business program you plan to pursue? FYI: I have included answers to some of the questions. please feel free to reword them as you see fit. The goal is to highlight my professional work experience (15 years experience in the financial services industries – financial services analyst – 3 years, policy analyst – 4 years, senior project analyst – 6 years, junior project manager – 1 year IT PMO team).
