The first time you cite a source in a footnote, you need to provide a full citation; once you’ve provided the full citation, you can shorten the citation in later footnotes

Within each section, your sources should be arranged alphabetically, by last name of the author (or the last name of the first author if there are multiple authors), or by the first word in the title if there is no author
Please make sure to properly format the bibliography and your sources
Remember, a bibliography is different than a works cited page. A bibliography includes all of the sources you used for your research, so give yourself credit for all of the research you’ve done, even if you don’t directly cite a source in your paper
