Need citations to be precisely in MLA format. It can be 2 full pages to 3 and spelling has to be perfect. Please go according to the following instructions (ignore any comments on this that are relating to reading some pages) and also the provided file:
All the correct format and length requirements specified on the assignment description in Major Coursework.
An introduction paragraph using one or more introduction strategies to introduce the topic and ending with a clear, concise (one sentence and not wordy), specific (it should identify the topic—the comparison/ contrast and the purpose), and arguable (open to argument, discussion, or debate—not something obvious or factual) thesis statement. See the “Some Introduction Strategies” and “The Thesis Statement” documents in Writing and Revision.
Middle section paragraphs consisting of the main ideas, points, or reasons—in a word, the comparison/contrast including (optional) up to 3 sources—to support your thesis statement. If you do use research (up to 3 sources), see the “Some MLA Format Rules,” “Quote Integration,” and “Synthesizing Sources” documents in Writing and Revision; Chapter 52 in our textbook is also helpful for MLA Format. Regardless of whether you are using a direct quotation, paraphrase, or a summary, if you borrow information from a source (ideas, information, words, etc.) that is specific or “uncommon” knowledge, you should properly cite the source(s) in correct 8th Edition MLA Format—just as you did with Essay 2. If you are unsure whether something is specific or uncommon knowledge, cite a source anyway. It is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to plagiarism; as with Essay 2, plagiarism will result in an ungraded Essay 3 (0 points).
A conclusion paragraph that begins by summarizing or restating the thesis statement/points in the middle section and answers the “So What?” question: why does this comparison/contrast matter and to or for whom does it matter? If you elect to evaluate (make a judgment or series of judgments about) the comparison/contrast, the conclusion paragraph makes a great place to evaluate; however, you can also evaluate in the middle section paragraphs if you prefer. This is up to you. See the “Conclusions” document in Writing and Revision.
A Work or Works Cited page should appear separately if you included 1, 2, or up to 3 sources in correct 8th Edition MLA Format. See Chapter 52 or Purdue’s Writing Center: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/purdue_owl.html
