Fracking on Native American Lands

Paper needs to be 6 pages long on Fracking on Native American lands, its effects, the economic benefits, and why it is not beneficial. I have an abstract I wrote to help get started in the right direction, When looking at the domestic boom in oil production in the United States, you immediately become inundated with information regarding fracking. Although fracking has allowed for the domestic increase in oil production, along with it comes major environmental, health, ecological, and cultural costs. The territory most susceptible to be enticed to engage in fracking are Native American sovereign lands. Increasing amounts of poverty continue to ravage these communities, making them feel much more easily persuaded to allow fracking on their lands and profit from it. If the United States wants to stop the devastating long-term effects from fracking from taking place, they must aid and assist in implementing renewable energy technology and resources as an income stream on Native lands.
