Let’s put it this way: The Shakespeare plays we read and watch now we KNOW are not exactly accurate. We know this because there are many errors in them and also in many cases we have different copies that disagree with one another. There are FOUR different version of Hamlet! Do we then decide we can just never watch Hamlet? Or, is there another way to approach it, still watch and enjoy Hamlet, think of it as Shakespeare’s play, but know there may be errors in it?
