Feminist Psychology of Religion

For my research paper, the topic I choose is Feminist Psychology of Religion (Chapter 10). I’ve chosen this topic because throughout my years of learning about psychology, I have never really learned about the feminist approaches. We’ve always heard about Sigmund Freud, B.F. Skinner, Ivan Pavlov, and William James, but why never Mary Whiton Calkins, Mary Ainsworth, Anna Freud, or even Margaret Floy Washburn. What interests me about this topic is the differences between both male and female perspective of religion. Feminist psychology is centered on social structures and gender. It is oriented on the values and principles of feminism and has a strong emphasis on women rights

It should be scholarly in nature, drawing material from professional literature – books, scholarly articles, and scholarly or professional websites. The project should be professional in its presentation, using Chicago style or APA format. It must have a strong theological foundation, using literature on psychology and religion (not just psychology) as the underpinning for the work. It must be at least 1750-2000 words (not including bibliography).
