Paper:
The research paper will be 2-3 pages of substance, not including title page or reference page(s). The research paper must be in APA format; 12-pt font, 1-inch margins, double-spaced, running head, pages numbers, etc… Include the following in the research paper:
1) Title Page:
a. Include running head, page numbers, full name, date, class, and topic.
2) History of the event
3) the significance of the event
4) the impact of the event
5) how the event continues to influence nursing
6) Reference Page:
a. Reference page inclusive of the textbook plus 3 reputable references (professional sources) from the last three years and the textbook
b. References are cited in the correct APA format for the type of citation they represent (newspaper, book, journal, webpage, etc.)

 General
1) 12-point Times New Roman font used throughout
2) Entire paper is double spaced
3) Margins are 1″ on all sides
 Body
1) Narrative begins on page 2.
2) Narrative is a minimum of 2 FULL pages.
3) Pages are counted excluding graphics or long quotes.
4) Running header (left aligned, all caps) and page number (right aligned) on every page including reference pages
 In-text Citations-If there are no citations/references, the paper is a zero-refer to plagiarism policy
1) All reference sources and citations match.
2) Proper APA style
3) Citation is correctly incorporated into the sentence it supports
4) Page or paragraph number included for direct quotes
 References Page
1) Page is titled “References” and appears at the end of the paper
2) References appear alphabetically
3) Hanging indents and double spacing used
