| Substance abuse disorders (SUDs) are often conceptualized as a chronic brain illness, it can be categorized as different stages of relapse and remission. Substance abuse disorders have lots of bearing with readiness, coherence, physical, moral, and mental health of every service member who suffers from this disease. The assessment point allows me to assess what changes is needed to improve substance abuse. The stakeholders are key participants, creating relationship establish collaboration and this in essence will improve and exploit new ideas. Everything connects, so in order to get from one area to another I have to find different ideas to maintain sustainability, such as education, and training. Substance abuse disorders can be considered a system, and as one component of that system change it affects all the other components (Haines, 1999). For example, each one of the blocks within the figure have a key identity and describe the relation or connection of the system. Output (A) describe the goals base on the environment stimulation, those goals include reduction in suicide, decrease addiction and return to duty. Input (C) discussed the significance or the impact of substance abuse on any service member or their family members. Those impact can lead to addiction, dishonorable discharge and suicide. Feedback (B) describe my thought process as I review and thinking backward reflecting on my actions, what have been done in pass and what improvement is needed to achieve my goals. Those goals include increase access to care, reduction in relapse, reduction in suicide and increase moral. The throughout (D) allow me to review interdependent relation between output input, and feedback and find different strategies to accomplish decreasing substance abuse in the military.
