Describing a Research Question
Task
You will apply lesson content to your own research project. The project will:
Describe a research question,
Investigate literature related to that question,
Present theoretically grounded hypotheses related to the question, and
Present a well-defended methodology for investigating the question.
At each step in the process, you must defend your methodological choices. This project will not require data collection or analysis.
Instructions
This project is broken down into tasks, in order to facilitate the success of your project.
In Module 1, you will identify an area of interest and apply this topic to a literature search.
In Module 6, you will conduct a literature review of at least four (4) academic articles which are highly relevant to your topic.
In Module 9, you will draft your research question, explaining the importance of this question. You will identify your selected research design and support your methodological choices. You will post the draft of your research question to a discussion board and offer feedback to at least one (1) classmate.
In Module 11, you will submit your Final Research Question & Proposal
In Module 15, you will post your Final Project to this assignment page.
To earn full credit, your project should include all of the following elements:
Research question is appropriate for empirical research design
Comprehensive review of literature related to the research question
Theoretically grounded hypothesis related to the research question
Well-defended methodology for investigating the research question
Refer to the guidelines for the final paper.

This assignment will close at the due date and time. Late submissions will not be possible.
