Course Reflection: Instructions
Students will describe two or three significant insights they have gleaned from this course and explain how each insight will likely impact them in the future. Specifically, the impacts could relate to their attitudes or behaviors in social groups (families, communities, etc.) or participation in social systems (as consumers, workers, voters, etc.).* In the process, students should make at least two specific references (i.e. quote, paraphrase, draw upon) any of the course material such as the textbook, presentations, video clips or discussion.
The expected length of the Reflection is two to four pages, not including the title page or references. Basic APA format should be used (see bottom of page). This assignment is due on Monday 4/27 by 11PM in the appropriate dropbox and a rubric is provided below.
*Perhaps one of the topics we studied has affected how you think about an issue as a voter (or future voter), interact with people from a different culture, approach your future career, or involvement in social/environmental issues. You decide. Try to be specific and thoughtful.
