Guidelines for completing “Arguing A Position” Essay
Arguing A Position will be your second essay that uses research and proper MLA format. The essay “Arguing A Position” is based on Chapter 6 of your St. Martin’s textbook.

For this research essay, you will have (5) overall pages of essay content; your 6th page will be your Works Cited page (no more than 10 overall pages in total).
You must submit a complete Works Cited page with all your sources listed, including the three (3) required Academic databases, for me to review your overall sources (before the essay is due).
You must conduct peer review before the final draft of the “Arguing A Position” essay final draft comes to me for grading. VIII. Conclusion: Reaffirm your position. Reiterate shared values.
This essay needs to be in 10-12pt. Times New Roman font, 1 inch margins and will be 5 full pages of essay content, double spaced, and your Works Cited page will be your 6th page.
