Majau: A significant number of decisions at the national and international levels have identified environmental harm to individuals or communities, especially indigenous peoples arising as a result of violations of reckless environmental degradation. These decisions seem to uphold the principle that environmental degradation could amount to a violation of the rights to health, to life, to self-determination, to food and water, and to housing.
