For the Philippines, this means you should cite 3 of the 5 chapters/ articles we read (by Ahmad, Gutierrez, Abinales, Ferrer, and the International Crisis Group), and for Indonesia it requires engaging with Aspinall’s Islam and Nation – in addition to whatever readings from Part I you find pertinent to your argument.
You can use footnotes (with full bibliographic information in the footnote) or parenthetical citations (with full bibliographic information included in a list of references at the end of the paper). Also remember to paginate, to indicate which prompt you have selected, and to give your paper a title that reflects the content of your argument.
