Or Prospero separating various groups from the shipwreck out on his island and nudging them toward that final reconciliation scene. Take any two of these plays and contrast them. Say what theme emerges from each of your two plays’ treatment of such a “mastermind” character and his elaborate plotting (i.e. the theme should be a little different for each of the two plays and we should see each play’s theme the more sharply by contrasting it with the other).
