Furthermore, the willpower of an individual is another secret to success in one’s life. When an individual is determined to achieve a certain goal or vision in their life, they will undeniably be victorious in their future. This does not matter whether they have a good academic qualification or not as not all people with great educational backgrounds turned out successful. The power of one’s determination can be seen in the success story of Bill Gates. He dropped out of Harvard University to take that one step further in his life by working hard to achieve his vision in his famous computer software, Microsoft. Thus, willpower plays an important role in achieving success in life.

College doesn’t make sense is the message that many trade schools and apprenticeship programs are using to entice new students. What specifically doesn’t make sense, they claim, is the amount of debt many young Americans take on to chase those coveted bachelor’s degrees. There is $1.5 trillion in student debt outstanding as of 2018, according to the Federal Reserve. Four in 10 adults under the age of 30 have student-loan debt, according to the Pew Research Center. Master’s and doctorate degrees often lead to even more debt. Earning potential does not always offset the cost of these loans, and only two-thirds of those with degrees think that the debt was worth it for the education they received. Vocational and technical education tends to cost significantly less than a traditional four-year degree.

Equally determinative, how one succeeds has also changed. In the more growth-oriented sections of today’s economy, success comes not to those who wait, but to those who are proactive about what is needed, even if it is not wanted right now. Success comes to those who move, engage, network, see, and communicate the possibilities, and get things done. There’s an upside to all this confusing flux, and this is where the idea of the jolt earns its spurs: now more than ever, every individual in search of a life’s work has the chance fully to realize his or her inherent talent in pursuit of a unique mission aimed at the twin goals of financial success and personal fulfillment. Clearly, if you are going to seize that chance and keep it fresh, you need to rethink—even redefine—the entire process of career planning.
