City of Pompeii, Ancient Greco – Roman architecture and fresco painting styles.

Student needs to analyze the history of the famous Pompeiian archeological site, it’s ancient Greco-Roman architecture and famous fresco painting styles.
– Three elements to include in your analysis:
1. History of the place,
2. Architectural elements used, and
3. Styles of fresco paintings.
– Collect information from the textbook, videos & info’s from our lectures (Roman art, part two includes Pompeii).
– You may also research and collect information from the reliable sources like BBC, Discovery, History Channel or Khans Academy videos and from Pompeii Museum & site.
– You need to create at least three paragraphs and organize composition of the essay. The basic one is introduction, the main subject and the conclusion. If you want to add more paragraphs, that is ok. In the last one you may include your own impressions too.
– I don’t require specific format for citations as long as you have it. You may include it in the text or on the separate page. Limit them to one or two sentences at the time, DON’T cite the whole paragraph! I want your analysis, not somebody’s else.
