Objective: Respond to a worldview from a biblical perspective.

Instructions
For this case study assignment, you will need to prepare by reading Chapter 5 of your textbook. The case study will provide a scenario for you to provide a thoughtful and respectful response.

Here is the situation. You are at work and during a break you and your coworker were talking about their recent promotion. They proceed to tell you that on several occasions they passed off someone else’s ideas and work as their own. In the promotion announcement to the company the HR department highlights the stolen ideas and work for the basis of your colleague’s promotion. Your friend argues that they don’t believe that what they did was stealing.

 What do you say? Do you agree or disagree?

 How do you explain what you see as the biblical vision of truth?

 In a 1 page, thoughtful and respectful response, provide a reply to the individual in the case study.

 Provide your initial post by Day 4 and replies to fellow students by Day 7 in the discussion forum titled Case Study Discussion. Consult the discussion forum rubric in your syllabus for further details.

THREE: NEW AGE PAPER

Objective: Compare and contrast the new age worldview with the Christian worldview.

Instructions
We can see elements of the New Age worldview in our culture today. This paper is going to require some research as you compare and contrast the New Age worldview with the Christian worldview.

 Read Chapter 7 in your textbook.

 Research the elements of the New Age worldview.

 Research what the Bible says about it.

 Write a 2-3 page paper addressing the following criteria.

o Outline the elements of the New Age as a worldview.
o Compare and contrast the elements of the New Age worldview with the Bible.
o Explain the effects in your life if you accepted the biblical worldview. How would it affect your relationships and work life?

 Submit your paper to the drop box titled New Age Paper for your instructor.

FOUR: WK4 JOURNAL

Objective: Reflect on how culture shapes your personal worldview.

Instructions
Throughout the course you will be completing a journal. The journal will consist of four one-page essays (one page from each week) and a final journal for Week Five. These thought journals will help you analytically consider new insights as well as additional thoughts on previous insights.

 Write a one-page journal entry that describes “truth” from a biblical perspective.

 Discuss ways in which a biblical perspective of “truth” influences your personal worldview.

 Discuss any changes in perspective that you would need to make to hold a Christian worldview in regards to the concept of truth.

 Journal entries are not expected to be formatted in the APA style unless otherwise noted from your instructor; however, citations should be presented in APA format. Also, it is expected that grammar, spelling, etc. properly meet a university level of writing.
