Cartel Activity and its Impact on Mexico

This paper has to outline the cartel’s impact on Mexico. How NAFTA brought about the inception of the cartel becoming a strong force in Mexico and other factors that has bolstered the cartel’s impact and activity in Mexico.

These are my professors’s remarks on what else needs to be added to my paper:

Highlight your research questions, e.g. the evolution of drug cartels in Mexico, and the specific socieconomic [and political?] effects you plan to study. Add (a manageable) timeframe. After doing that, you can better select your sources.

I will also add my research proposal to this document to better help the write of my paper.

For the final version of the 12/15-page term paper (including title page, and bibliography), it is important to keep in mind:

– Introduction— Provide a research question/thesis and highlight the significance of the study. Discuss the outline of the paper, and the method to collect information.

– The body of the paper (before conclusions) should be organized according to your initial outline.

-Conclusions (Go back to your research questions).

-Perspectives/Recommendations (optional)

– Bibliography. At least 10 sources, including books. journal articles, and reliable internet sources. (Please note that each page of the paper (with the exception of the Introduction and the Conclusions must include at least two references).
