Hello everyone, I have a business statistic exam right around the corner commencing on Monday 15th of June 2pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Since the exam is online my university will be uploading the documents which i have to download and answer by, either typing the answer on the provided documents or write on a piece of paper and take photos of it and upload them. The exam takes 2 hours and 15 minutes, which comprises either multiple choice questions and short answer.
These are the instructions to what the university have to say about the exam.
You will have 2 hours to complete the final exam/assessment. You will also have a short amount of additional time to download and upload your answers. More explicit details on this once finalised.
You will write your answers either in the space provided on the exam paper or you will write your answers on blank pieces of paper- uisng the spacing on the exam as a guide to how much you should write. You will be responsibel for carefully taking photos of your answers and insert all of them into either into 1 pdf or word document. You will submit an excel file and your pdf/word as your only 2 submissions. Zip files are not acceptable, and make sure your photos are placed the right way up.
The exam will be out of 120 marks -so that means a 10 mark question should be allocated around 10 minutes.
There are 2 questions with multiple parts. One question you would recognise as relating to hypothesis tests and confidence intervals. Worth 50 marks. The other question for 70 marks relates to regression analysis.
You will require access to Excel, Microsoft word/Pdf and a smartphone/camera.
The questions are open book – they include some practical calculation as well as higher level skills incorporating interpretation, analysis and intuition.
I will finalise the formula sheet – very minor update well before the exam.
