BRIEFING BOOK IS ON BERNIE SANDERS!!!
Students will follow a candidate currently campaigning for political office and will prepare an Issue (briefing) Book which identifies their 2020 candidate. In the book, the students will identify 3 key issues to be addressed by their candidate. Argumentative strategy including support and defense of argumentative positions will be developed. Issue identification including recommendation for priority, issue position, language and style of issue approach with rationale for each will be included as well as complete charting of opponents’ positions on available issues. The project should also include critical evaluation of the candidate’s rhetoric with examples.
