this is the care
this is a case of about a young lady who experiencing difficulties walking following a car accident about 12 months ago. she struggling to bear her own weight and can only take a few steps before falling on the floor. no neurological or organic cause has bee found for the problem and she has been told she has a functional neurological condition

prior to the car accident she was working as a librarian in a local college and sharing a house with 3 other professionals. she has not experienced any problems like this previously but has suffered a high level of anxiety since teenage years. she explained to the neurologist who examined that she did not particularly like seeking help from other people

upon question, she told that she had grown up with her mum and sister they kept very much to themselves after her dad died when she was 5yrs old. the neurologist referred her to Improve Access to psychological treatment team (IAPT) as she suspects the client might have underlying condition problem that could not be understood from medical perspectives
