Introduction
Though Airbus is a relative latecomer in the industry of aircraft manufacturing, they are widely viewed as Boeing’s biggest competitor. With these two manufacturers coming from different continents, their approach is different, but the market for which they design their aircraft is a global one. The supplemental readings provided are intentionally outdated as the competition between Airbus and Boeing is ever-changing. *These readings were also specific to the A380 and the B787, you will need to do additional research to complete this assignment.*
On February 14th, 2019 Airbus announced that the A380 program has been cancelled. So perhaps Boeing “won” this last round. But who is positioned better for the future and why?
