Which branch of government do you think is the least dangerous?

James Madison argued in Federalist 48 that Congress has the potential to be the most dangerous branch. Alexander Hamilton reasoned in Federalist 70 that a strong singular executive is essential for the security of the United States. In Federalist 78, Alexander Hamilton states that the Judicial Branch is the least dangerous branch. With more than 200 years of judicial decisions, some political scientists challenge Hamilton’s thesis and argue that the Judicial Branch is the most dangerous branch. It has been inferred that a decision rendered by the U.S. Supreme Court can radically change the social, political and economic structures of American society. However, there are other arguments that suggest the Legislative and the Executive Branches are more dangerous. For example, Congress can make a law that benefits one group at the expense of another group thereby violating political rights, civil liberties and civil rights. The president has the ability to command the military thereby threatening the lives of many.
