The requirements for the assessment
You are required to select a question from a list generated by the Course team and to answer that question by:（Question selected：Leadership：Given the increasing pressure on corporations to address environmental and social issues, critically discus the role of globally responsible leadership in responding to these challenges.）

1. Critically evaluating the published literature, relating to the chosen title
2. Reflecting upon the alternative approaches adopted in the literature and commenting on their relative strengths and weaknesses
3. Analysing the issue/ question in light of the literature and related knowledge
4. Synthesising ideas from a range of sources into appropriate conclusions
5. Evaluating alternatives and make recommendations where appropriate

Special Instructions
· Students must put the name of their advisor on the Module Assignment Form not the Module tutor.
· Students must discuss with their advisor a date by which a draft of their BM 6199 will be submitted in order to receive feedback. Advisors will read one full draft only and provide written comments.
Attendance
Failure to attend tutorials with your advisor will clearly impact on your ability to optimise your learning and assessment results. If you find that you have to miss a tutorial it is essential that every effort is made to notify the tutor first and in cases of valid mitigating circumstances then the tutor will rearrange an alternative time. In the event of you not being able to supply appropriate mitigating circumstances then it is at the discretion of the tutor whether an alternative time is offered.
Referencing
All parts of the assessment must follow academic conventions for acknowledging academic sources where appropriate.

Careful referencing of sources is vital when making use of the work of others. You are expected to employ the referencing conventions recommended in the Course. These conventions apply to information taken from internet sources, as well as books, journals and lectures. If you are unsure of the way to reference properly, seek advice from a member of staff before you submit the assessment.
These are some of the points you should check before submitting your work:
are all direct quotations, from both primary and secondary sources, suitably acknowledged (placed in quotation marks or indented)?
have you provided full details of the source of the quotation, according to the referencing convention used in the Course?
have you acknowledged the source of ideas not your own, even if you are not quoting directly from the source?
have you avoided close paraphrase from sources? (Check that you are not presenting other people’s words or phrasing as if they are your own.)
if you have worked closely with others in preparing for this assessment, is the material you are presenting sufficiently your own?
If you are unsure of the way to reference properly, seek advice from your module tutor or if necessary another member of staff before you submit the assessment. In submitting your work for assessment you are making a statement that it is your own work, it has not been submitted for any other assessment, and it does not infringe the ethical principles set out in the University’s Handbook for Research Ethics.
